Trailer rams into railway track in Odisha; no casualty

Sambalpur: The train services were disrupted between Sambalpur and Hirakud after a trailer rammed into the railway track in the morning. However, there is no casualty in the mishap.

The truck was travelling on the NH-53 from Sambalpur to Bargarh.

According to reports, the trailer suddenly rammed into the railway track near Laxmidunguri area, as the driver lost control over the vehicle.

Although no casualty or damage was reported, several trains on Sambalpur-Hirakud route were halted for some hours due to the incident.

On receiving information, the railway officials reached the spot and launched an operation to clear the railway track for resuming the train services.
