Train services hit as goods train engine fails inside tunnel in Odisha

Rayagada: Train services on Koraput-Rayagada railway line were disrupted after a goods train was halted midway between Keutguda and Sikarpai stations following engine failure.

Sources said the coal-laden train was halted inside a tunnel on the railway tracks due to the technical glitches. Following this, three trains, including Samaleswari Express were stranded at Keutaguda station.

Till last reports came in, no railways officials had reached the spot for restoration work.
