Jharsuguda: In an unusual incident, wagons of an engine-less goods train rolled on track for 1 KM and derailed in Odisha's Jharsuguda district.
According to reports, as many as 60 coal-laden wagons at Lajkura siding of MCL started rolling around 4 AM without being attached to engine. After covering around one KM, four of the wagons derailed.
No casualties have been reported in the incident. On being informed, a maintenance team reached the spot and initiated restoration work.
The derailment affected coal transportation in the route.
