Transfer of two Odisha bureaucrats kept in abeyance, here’s why

Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the impending Cyclone Amphan, the Odisha government today kept transfer of two senior bureaucrats in abeyance until further orders.

As per a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, the appointment of 1993 batch IAS officer Nikunja Bihari Dhal as Principal Secretary, Energy Department has been kept in abeyance until further orders in view of the cyclonic storm.

The appointment of 1995 batch IAS officer Bishnupada Sethi as Principal Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department was also kept in abeyance until further orders.
