Balasore: A married man was arrested for allegedly raping a tribal divyang girl in Nilagiri area of Odisha's Balasore district.

The accused, identified as Budhia Singh, a neighbour of the victim, raped the girl when she was alone at her house. Acting on a complaint lodged by the father of the girl, Nilagiri police have registered a case and started investigation.

"We have arrested the accused and forwarded him to court. Further investigation is underway," said Minati Biswal, IIC, Nilagiri police station.
