Tribal man dies by ‘suicide’ a day after attacking wife in Odisha

Kalimela: A day after attacking his wife, a tribal man reportedly died by suicide in Odisha’s Malkangiri district today. The deceased was identified as Deba Kabasi from Urmaguda village under Kalimela block of the district.

Yesterday evening Deba and wife Bhime fought over some family dispute. Following the heated argument, Deba attacked his wife causing grievous injuries on her face.

Deba’s family members found him hanging with a rope from the house ceiling in the wee hours today.

After receiving information, the police reached the spot and sent the body for post mortem. An unnatural death case has been registered at MV-79 police station.
