Tribal minor girls kidnapped in Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak, Jan 18:

Two tribal minor girls have allegedly been kidnapped in Bhadrak district of Odisha since Sunday.

According to reports, two tribal youths of Thakurmunda area were working as helper with Manas Jena, a tractor driver of Adia village.

The two helpers were introduced with the missing girls of Kadabarang area under Agarpada police limits during their work in the nearby areas.

Following the missing of two minors, their family members have filed a complaint of abduction at Agarpada police station.

They have claimed in the complaint that the girls have been kidnapped by the two tractor helpers with the help of Manas.

Police have started probe into the incident registering a case to rescue the minors.

On the other hand, Manas has gone absconding which has brought him under police scanner.

Agarpada police station’s Officer in Charge Deepak Ranjan Jena today raided Manas’s house but returned empty handed as he was not present there.

Further investigations were on.
