Truck mows down Odisha man who went out for Holi celebrations

Balasore: In a tragic incident amid Holi celebrations across Odisha, a man was crushed to death by a truck at Bagudi Chhak in Soro area of Balasore district today.

The deceased has been identified as Narendra Jena of Mahumuhana village. According to reports, Jena went out of his house for buying colours for Holi celebrations this morning.

While he was heading towards market on his motorcycle, a bullock dashed against the vehicle following which he fell down. In the meantime, a truck ran over him killing him on the spot.

A pall of gloom descended on the locality despite Holi festival after the death of the person.
