Odisha police have arrested two more aides of notorious gangster siblings Sushant and Sushil Dhalasamanta from Kolkata, police sources said today.

According to sources, a team of Commissionerate Police has arrested Chandan Behera and Devdutta Das alias Lipuna from the capital city of West Bengal for their alleged complicity in three murders.
“Two persons have been arrested from Kolkata. One Lipuna alias Devdutta Das involved in Om and Dipu abduction and murder case has been arrested. He has criminal antecedants and was jailed several times. He was on the payroll of Dhalasamanta brothers. He will be forwarded to court today,” Twin City Commissioner YB Khurania said.
While Chandan has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder of Cuttack-based pulses trader Md Farooq, Lipuna has been arrested for his complicity in Om and Dipu murders.
Sources added that Rs 70,000 and mobile phones have been seized from their possession.
With this, the number of arrests in connection with the Dhalasamanta brothers has reached 35.
