Baripada, July 20:
Excise department officials on Wednesday arrested two including a woman involved in drug peddling and seized 6.1 gm brown sugar from their possession in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

Cash amounting to Rs 13,330 was also seized from them.
Acting on a tip-off a surprise raid was conducted on the house of the accused at Kumbharmundakata village under Bangiriposhi block leading to the seizure, Excise department sources said.
The arrested have been identified as Renu Das and her nephew Sanjit Behera. The duo was engaged in drug peddling for a long period of time, the sources added.
