Two baby girls die as wall collapses in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: Portion of a wall of a house collapsed at Keshari Nagar in Unit-IV area of Odisha capital killing two baby girls.

According to reports, Suna Kandi and her two daughters Tulasi (3) and Lagna (2) were sleeping inside their kutcha house in the afternoon, three days ago when the wall collapsed injuring them critically.

Neighbours rushed the trio to the Capital Hospital, where Tulasi succumbed to her injuries yesterday while undergoing treatment. On the other hand, Lagna breathed her last at the hospital today.

Condition of the mother of the deceased is stated to be critical, hospital sources said. Wall of the kutcha house had reportedly weakened after heavy rainfall in the city few days ago.
