Two branches of ICICI Bank, RTO-I office in Odisha Capital shut

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today shut two branches of ICICI Bank and RTO office located in Acharya Vihar after COVID-19 cases were detected.

Official sources said as many as 15 positive cases were detected from ICICI Bank, Cuttack Road Branch and Sales Section of ICICI Bank, Bhubaneswar Main Branch, near Sriya Talkies.

Following this, the BMC has sealed the two branches of ICICI Bank as a precautionary measure and in larger public interest.

Similarly, the BMC closed the RTO-1 office after four of its employees tested positive for the virus.

After detection of two positive cases, the BMC also closed Gati Godown at Nakhara.

The BMC said all the employees who came in contact with the positive cases will be mandatorily quarantined.
