Two brothers held for Dhoom-style robbery at Odisha school

Tentulikhunti: The Nabarangpur Police arrested two brothers for allegedly robbing computers and electronic items from a high school under Tentulikhunti block in the district.

The two brothers, Aditya Das and Anand Das from Indravati Colony literally challenged the police by scrawling ‘Dhoom 4’, ‘we will return’ and ‘coming soon’ on a classroom blackboard at Indravati High School in Khatiguda after stealing the computers and electronic items. The duo also mentioned their phone numbers on the blackboard.

Police official sources said the two brothers are Graduates. They also informed stolen computers and electronic items have been recovered from the duo.

Medical examination of the accused was conducted and forwarded to the court today.

Based on a complaint lodged by the school Headmaster, Sarveshwara Behra at the Khatiguda police station, the police registered case no 60/11 and launched a probe.

As per the directive of the Nabarangpur SP, S. Susree, two police teams were formed to probe the case. The investigating teams also took the help of scientific team and dog squad.

The police official sources added the investigators got a vital lead from the scrawling on the blackboard and cracked the robbery case.

Late night on July 1, some miscreants looted the electronic items and wrote on the blackboard blaming the students in order to mislead the police probe. The messages on the black board also stated that the looters were from the same school.
