Angul: Two persons, who happen to be brothers, were critically injured after being attacked by a wild bear at Rengali village under Barkote block in Dogarh district today.

The injured identified as Bhabana Nayak and Dara Nayak have been admitted to a hospital at Pallahra in Angul district for treatment.

Sources said the brothers went outside to defecate this morning. On the way, a wild bear came out from nowhere and attacked Dara. When his brother Bhubana tried to save him, the animal pounced on him. Both suffered grievous injuries in the bear attack.
