Two elderly persons injured in wild boar attack in Odisha’s Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: Two elderly persons including a woman were injured after they were reportedly attacked by a wild boar at Luhabaga village under Lakhanpur block in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district today.

The victims were identified as Ukia Pradhan (67) and Lakhpati Bhoi (60).

According to reports, the duo along with a few villagers had been to a nearby forest to attend nature’s call early in the morning. A wild boar attacked the residents. While others managed to escape, Ukia and Lakhpati became the target of the wild animal.

However, the villagers rescued the two and took them to a hospital in Chhattisgarh for treatment.
