Bhubaneswar: Four wagons of a goods train derailed near Kantabanji railway station under the Sambalpur Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) at around 10:50 PM on Friday.

The incident has resulted in the disruption of train movement on both lines.

No casualties have been reported in this incident. Senior railway officials are on the scene, and efforts are underway to restore train operations as soon as possible.

Due to the derailment, the following train services have been cancelled:

Cancellation of Trains:

  1. Train No. 08278 Raipur-Titlagarh Express, scheduled to depart from Raipur on 01.06.2024.
  2. Train No. 08276 Junagarh Road-Raipur Express, scheduled to depart from Junagarh Road on 01.06.2024.
