Two from UP, 1 from Haryana arrested for Ganja smuggling in Odisha
Jeypore: Busting an inter-state ganja smuggling racket, the Jeypore police of Koraput district arrested two persons from Uttar Pradesh and one from Haryana after seizing a huge cache of cannabis amounting Rs 20 lakh last evening.
Acting on a tipoff, the police intercepted a truck bearing registration number UP12 T 4812 near Patraput bridge and seized 208.3 kg of the contraband item. The cops arrested three occupants of the truck that was going towards Jeypore town from Baipariguda.

The arrested are Pradeep (32) of Sonipat in Haryana and Monu Kumar (32) and Mohammed Abid (24) of Uttar Pradesh.
The cops further seized the truck, Rs 3200 cash and 535 pockets of mosquito nets and three mobile phones from their possession.
