Two Home Guards test positive for COVID-19 in Odisha’s Ganjam

Ganjam: Two Home Guards in Ganjam district tested positive for deadly COVID-19. As per a tweet by Ganjam SP Brijesh Kumar Rai, the two Home Guards work at the Polasara Police station.

Both were engaged in duty at Jagannathpur railway station and temporary medical camps (TMCs), the tweet added.

Currently, the two Home Guards are undergoing treatment at Parala Maharaja COVID Hospital and TATA COVID Hospital, Sitalapali.

So far, a total of 368 persons have tested positive for the virus infection in Ganjam district. The number of active cases stands at 82. While 283 cured from the deadly disease, three died in the district.
