Two IAS officers get new responsibilities in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: IAS officer Siddhartha Das has been appointed as the Director of Sports in Odisha, said a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance department today.
Das was earlier working as the Additional Secretary to Finance department with the additional charge of Additional Director at the Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection.

IAS officer Deepankar Mohapatra has been appointed as the Managing Director of Odisha Small Industries Corporation Limited (OSIC), Cuttack, said the notification.

Mohapatra was earlier working as the Additional Director at the Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection in Odisha.

The additional appointment of IAS officer Md. Sadique Alam as the Managing Director of OSIC shall stand terminated from the date Mohapatra takes charge, added the notification.
