Two kids meet watery grave in Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: In a heart-wrenching incident, two kids met a watery grave while playing near a pond at Narayanpur village under Bhograi block here in the district today.

The deceased duo was identified as Rajkumar (2), son of Purnachandra Sahoo, and Ranjan (4), son of Basudev Sahoo.

According to reports, two boys were playing near a pond at around 11.00 am. While playing, one had entered into the water and his legs slipped. Another drowned in the pond while trying to save his friend.

After the duo did not return home for long hours, their family started searching for them near the village. Later, they recovered bodies of two children from the pond.
