Two killed in auto rickshaw-truck collision in Odisha’s Kendrapara

Kendrapara: A head-on collision between an auto-rickshaw and a truck killed two persons including the driver of the three-wheeler near Chandol Chhak under Sadar police limits in Odisha’s Kendrapara district last evening.

The deceased were residents of Baalia area in the district. The ill-fated auto-rickshaw carrying two passengers was heading towards a destination when it collided with the truck.

A passenger and the auto-rickshaw driver died on the spot under the impact of the collision. Another passenger sustained critical injuries and has been admitted to the district headquarters hospital for treatment.

On the other hand, the driver of the truck fled the spot after the road mishap.
