Two killed, one critical in motorcycle accident in Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak: At least two persons died and another sustained critical injuries as the motorcycle on which they were travelling hit a roadside culvert near Nuagaon under Chandbali block of Odisha’s Bhadrak district, last night.

The deceased have been identified as Ashok Nayak and Balaram Nayak. The injured one, Ananda Nayak, is undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

Eyewitnesses said driver of the two-wheeler lost control over the wheels following which the vehicle dashed against the culvert. Locals rescued the trio in a critical condition and rushed them to the Chandbali Community Health Centre, where Ashok succumbed to his injuries.

The remaining two were later shifted to the SCB Hospital, where Balaram breathed his last while undergoing treatment.
