In a tragic incident, a biker and his pillion rider were killed after they were hit by a speeding truck on the Jharsuguda-Dhutra road near Black Diamond Engineering College under Talpotia police station limits on the outskirts of Odisha’s district headquarters town of Jharsuguda today.

The deceased biker and his pillion rider have been identified as Laxman Kissan and Sribanta Kissan respectively of Chatriakanta. Both were below 30 years of age.

Following the incident, locals had blocked the road while the driver of the truck had managed to flee the spot.
