Two KISS students qualify NEET 2017

Bhubaneswar: Two students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) have qualified National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 conducted by CBSE, results of which were declared today. The successful students are: Nabin Munda and Shradhanjali Kapandia. While the qualifying marks in NEET 2017 was 107, Nabin and Shradhanjali scored 150 and 129 marks respectively.

Congratulating the two students, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, tribal students can excel in any field if they are provided proper care and guidance. KISS has provided such kind of care and guidance to its students to excel in various national level entrance examinations. Earlier students of KISS have got success in national level entrance examinations and pursuing their education in various prestigious national level institutions like IITs, NITs and IIMs.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 on May 7. The All India medical entrance exam was conducted for UG admissions to around 90,000 seats (65,000 MBBS & 25,000 BDS) in all Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges and Deemed Universities in India. More than 11 lakh students registered for NEET 2017, which was conducted in 10 languages at 1921 Exam Centres in 104 cities.
