Two Maoists killed in gunbattle in Odisha’s Malkangiri

Malkangiri, Oct 27:

Two Maoists were reportedly killed in a gunbattle between security forces and the red rebels at Panasput forest in Odisha’s Malkangiri district this morning.

Two SLRs were seized from the spot, sources said.

Meanwhile, search operation after the encounter in the cut-off areas of Chitrakonda here on October 24, in which 28 Maoists were killed, entered fourth day.

With the death of two more Maoists today, the toll reached 30.
