Two minor girls drown to death in Odisha’s Rajkanika

In a tragic incident today two minor girls were drowned in a pond in Kalisipada village under Rajkanika police station limits in Odisha’s Kendrapara district.

The deceased minors have been identified as Sharmistha, daughter of Benudhar Pati and Laxmipriya, daughter of Maheswar Rout, reports said.

As per reports, both were drowned while taking a bath in the pond. Both were rescued by the locals and taken to the Rajkanika Community Health Centre (CHC) where they were declared brought dead by the attending doctor.
