Two minor girls meet watery grave in Odisha’s Jajpur
Jajpur: Tragedy struck Kurukura village under Kuakhia police limits in Jajpur district after two minor girls drowned while taking bath in a pond in the locality today.
The deceased have been identified as Roshni, daughter of Bipin Swain and Sangeeta, daughter of Hrusikesh of Nathuabar Panchayat in the district.

The incident took place when the two girls were taking bath in a pond near an Anganwadi centre this morning. Seeing them, locals rescued the two and rushed them to the Madhuban Community Health Centre (CHC). They were later shifted to the Jajpur district headquarters hospital (DHH), where doctors declared them dead.
