Two minor siblings meet watery grave in Odisha’s Ganjam

Chhatrapur: In a tragic incident, two minor siblings met a watery grave in a pond at Chikalakhandi village under Chhatrapur police station in Ganjam district today.

The deceased duo has been identified as Badal (7) and his sister Barsha (4).

According to reports, the brother-sister duo drowned in a pond situated near a temple while they were taking bath in the afternoon.

Seeing two children drowning in the pond, the locals fished them out of water and rushed them to a nearby hospital. But, the duo was declared dead by the doctors.
