Soro: Two motorcyclists died reportedly after being hit by a speeding truck late on Friday night at Talanagar under Soro police limits on National Highway-16 in Odisha's Balasore district.

While one deceased person has been identified as Arjit Behera from Manatri village in Soro area, identity of another deceased motorcyclist is yet to be ascertained.

According to reports, the incident took place at around 2 am today when two youth on their motorcycles were returning from Bhadrak to their respective homes.

Sources said that the motorcycles collided with a speeding truck coming from opposite direction near a diversion at Talanagar on the NH.

The locals recovered the bodies and informed the police. On receiving information, Soro police reached the accident site and sent the bodies to hospital for post-mortem.
