Two Odisha cops suspended over prisoner’s escape from court
Jagatsinghpur: Authorities today suspended two police personnel over escape of a prisoner from court premises here on Saturday.
The suspended cops included Gourang Charan Roul and Sangram Rout, both are posted as the Constables in Odisha Police.

They were placed under suspension for dereliction of duty for which prisoner Surya Singh escaped from the court.
According to reports, the two constables were on the duty while the prisoner Surya Singh was brought to the SDJM court in Jagatsinghpur on Saturday for trial. However, the prisoner managed to flee from the court premises giving a slip to the police.
