Two Odisha Ministers pocketed hefty sums from AT Group: Pradip Sethy

Chit fund scam accused Artha Tatwa (AT) Group chief Pradip Sethy today made a startling disclosure that could affect the prospects of the BJD in the upcoming panchayat polls.

Sethy today claimed that two ministers of the ruling party in the state had taken huge amounts of money from the Group.

“Two senior leaders of the ruling party in the state have taken huge amounts of money from AT Group,” stated Sethy to reporters while he was produced in the local court here.

“The two are Ministers in the state government,” replied Sethy on being asked by reporters to identify them.

But he refused to name them since the investigations were on.

“I have told the CBI about them,” he clarified.

“I will also tell interrogators of the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) about this,” he added.

It may be mentioned here that the Special CBI Court here recently, had directed the SFIO to interrogate Pradip Sethy, Jyoti Prakash Patnaik, Srikrushna Padhi, Deepak Parekh and Manoj Patnaik and submit a report within one month.

Sethy is currently lodged in the Jharpada Special Jail.
