Two Odisha youths go missing in Puri sea

Puri: Two youths went missing while taking bath at sea here today. The search operation is underway by the lifeguards to rescue them.

The missing youths were identified as Jadumani Bachha, a student of Bikash School of Management in Bargarh district, and Aakash Kahaka, a student of Rourkela Ispat College.

The lifeguards have rescued two others, identified as Nikhil Padhi, a student of Bargarh Bikash College and a management student Ritik Jain of Kalahandi district. They were with Jadumani and Aakash.

According to report, both Jadumani and Aakash along with six other students had visited the pilgrim city Puri today to take shower in Puri sea. While taking bath, four students had drowned in the sea water at Chaitnya Ghat, out of which Nikhil and Ritik were rescued.

Report said that they were players of the cricket sqaud for the tournament at SOA University in Bhubaneswar. As there was no match scheduled for today, Jadumani and Aakash along with other players had visited Puri.

Other students, who were the part of the cricket team visited Puri for taking shower in the sea, were Surat Singh, a student of Sundergarh government College, K Sidharth from Bargarh district and Rahul Biswakarma, a student of Hirakud College. The identity of another student was not recorded till filing of the story.
