Two schoolboys drown to death in Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar, Oct 3:

In a tragic incident, two boys drowned to death in a pond in Odisha’s Keonjhar district today.

According to reports, the incident occurred in Badahal village under Keonjhar Town police station limits.

The two minor boys who were cousins had entered the pond to cleanse themselves after attending nature’s call on returning home after attending school.

They were later rescued by villagers and taken to the district headquarters hospital here where doctors declared them brought dead.

The deceased boys identified as Sandip Sahu and Bibhuti Sahu were students of Saraswati Sishu Mandir at Baniapata.

While one is aged about 10 years, the other is 8 years.
