Two shops set afire despite curfew in Odisha’s Soro

Soro, Sep 13:

Despite imposition of night curfew and heavy police bandobust in communally tense Soro in Odisha’s Balasore district, in a fresh spurt of violence, miscreants set afire two shops in Kharida Square locality of the town, reports said.

ADG (Law & Order) Satyajit Mohanty, DIG (Eastern Range) Ghanashyam Upadhaya and SP Niti Sekhar have rushed to the spot, reports added.

Meanwhile, fire tenders have doused the fire, while security has been further tightened in the communal strife-torn town.
