Two sisters found dead inside well in Odisha; probe begins    

Gajapati: Mystery shrouded death of two women, who were sisters, after bodies of the two were found inside a well in front of their house at Chheligad village under R Udaygiri police limits in Gajapati district late last night.

The deceased have been identified as Kiran Achari (22) and and Swapna Achari (18).

Sources said Pramod Achari, father of the two sisters, spotted the bodies inside the well and called up the police at around 2 AM yesterday. Today morning, police and a fire brigade team reached the spot and recovered the bodies.

Though it is yet to be ascertained whether it is case of murder or suicide, their father alleged involvement of some of his relatives behind the duo’s death.

Meanwhile, police have sent the dead bodies for post-mortem and launched an investigation into the incident.
