Father, son die as two-wheeler falls off flyover in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a two-wheeler rammed into the parapet of a flyover near Acharya Vihar here today, killing a father-son duo.

The deceased have been identified as Gangadhar Maharana and his son Laxman Maharana. Both fell off from the flyover, 30-feet below onto the adjacent road.

While Gangadhar died on the spot, Laxman breathed his last while being taken to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

Sources said that the two-wheeler, a silver-coloured Hero Duet numbered OD-25H-6460, was hit from behind by a speeding vehicle.
