Two youths knocked to death by vehicle in Odisha’s Kendrapara

Kendrapara: An unidentified vehicle knocked two youths to death near Tikanpur under Patkura police limits in Odisha’s Kendrapara district last night.

The deceased have been identified as Rajan Sutar and Pintu Patnaik of Pandhia village.

According to reports, the duo was returning home on a motorcycle after watching Durga Puja idol immersion ceremony at Kalabuda. An unknown vehicle hit the two-wheeler from rear near Bhadakamala.

Fire personnel rescued them in a critical condition and rushed the victims to Patkura community health centre, where both were declared brought dead.

The bodies have been seized by police and sent for post-mortem.
