UG, PG exams to be held in Odisha after resumption of physical classes

Bhubaneswar: In view of incontinences occurring to get benefits of online teaching during COVID-19 pandemic, the State Government decided to conduct the examinations for under-graduate and post-graduate students after resumption of physical classes.

A notification issued by the State Higher Education Department stated that it is not desirable to hold examination basing only on online teaching.

In this regard, the Higher Education Commissioner-cum-Secretary Saswat Mishra today asked the vice-chancellors of universities and principals of state-run and private colleges under the department to conduct the examinations only after resumption of classes in physical mode and completion of syllabus.

“Conduct of examination should be considered only after resumption of physical mode of teaching and completion of syllabus by such physical mode of teaching,” the notification stated today.
