Under-construction house collapses in Odisha’s Rayagada; owner dies

Rayagada: An under-construction house collapsed at Siriguda on the outskirts of Odisha’s Rayagada town today killing its owner. The deceased has been identified as Enketi Senapati of Chintaliguda village.

According to reports, the roof of the house was cemented five days ago. It collapsed this morning while Senapati was inside the house for some work.

He was critically injured and admitted to hospital by his kin. However, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Two others who have also sustained injuries have been admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital.

Police have started investigation into the incident after registering an unnatural death case.
