Jajpur: A body of an unidentified person was found on a roadside, just 3 km away from Bari area in Odisha's Jajpur district this morning.

The locals found the body near Rampa-Pagida road at Rampa panchayat under Bari police limits following which they informed the police. A bicycle was also spotted lying on the body.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Though the reason behind death is still obscure, the locals suspected that the cyclist might have fallen on the ground due to lightning and heavy rain last night and succumbed.
