Unidentified man found hanging at hospital in Odisha’s Balasore

Soro: An unidentified man was found hanging at Soro Community Health Centre (CHC) in Balasore district of Odisha this morning.

People found that person hanging from a fire safety railing at the staircase with a ‘gamchha’ at the government hospital in the morning today. The hospital authorities informed the Soro police about the incident.

The identity of the deceased person is still obscure. However, the security personnel of the hospital reportedly had seen the man roaming on the premises of the hospital till late hours of Friday.

The locals suspected the incident as murder.

“I received information that a man was found hanging at Soro hospital following which I rushed to the place. I do not know that person, but I assume the case was not a suicide,” said Soro councilor Sangram Keshari Mohapatra.
