Unidentified youth’s body found in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar, Feb 8:

Body of a youth was found in Odisha capital under mysterious circumstances this morning.

Locals spotted the body of the youth in his 20s with multiple injury marks on his body near Bishnupriya Apartment in IRC Village area under Nayapalli police station limits in the city.

After getting information, officials of local police station rushed to the spot for investigation.

Meanwhile, police have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem to Capital Hospital here.

Though the identity of the youth has not been ascertained, it is suspected that the youth might have been murdered as his body was found with hands tied.

Police have begun investigation into the incident.

In a separate incident, a woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances near a school in Khurdha district.

The deceased, said to be married, was found lying on the ground with her dupatta entangled in the neck region. Police suspected it to be a case of murder.

Meanwhile, local police have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem.
