Jobless engineers in Odisha stage unique protest by polishing shoes!

Bhubaneswar, April 2:
Some unemployed degree civil engineers on Friday polished shoes to protest the alleged irregularities in the appointment of Odisha government assistant executive engineers (AEE).

The passers by stopped and watched as the engineers who had taken to the streets and polished shoes for few hours in the capital.
Notably, the unemployed degree civil engineers association has alleged large scale malpractices in OPSC exams for AEE. The association has many times through press meets and agitation has protested the irregularity in appointments but without any success.
Therefore, we have been forced to protest in this manner, the association members said.
