US company donates diesel gen sets in Phailin-hit Ganjam

As part of its CSR activities, the American Tower Corporation (ATC) has donated diesel generator sets to Kasthurba Gandhi Vidyalaya in Rikapalli, Chhatrapur and six Community Health Centres (CHCs) in the Phailin-hit Ganjam district.

The generator sets, donated by the ATC on Tuesday, would help the KGV hostel and the CHCs during power failures and provide uninterrupted service to the public during natural calamities.

The CHCs in the district had faced serious problems due to power failure during the devastating cyclone Phailin in October last year.

Fulfilling its core principle to connect with the communities and promoting positive changes, ATC has been organizing several innovative events.

Among others, ADM, District Project Coordinator of Ganjam district and ATC representative were present on the occasion.
