Utkal University Online UG Exam 2021: Tentative dates, action plan released; Check details

Bhubaneswar: The Utkal University has released tentative dates and action plan for the Online UG Examinations-2021.

The state government has decided to conduct UG examinations online, this year due to the COVID-19 situation.

The concerned colleges have been asked to collect mobile phone numbers/ WhatsApp numbers and e-mail ID of the students by June 30.

* Colleges will collect the fees from students through online or directly collect from college bank account.

* Students will not be physically present in colleges for form fill up.

* Colleges will keep Rs 260/250 (examination fee) per student to meet their valuation process.

* Students can download the admit card directly from UUeMS portal.

The internal examinations of 20 marks will be conducted by the colleges online by July 15.

As per last year Notification No.28335/HE, dated: 02.09.2020 those who have less than equal to 2 back papers in the intermediate semester can be passed in PQ method, taking the average mark of papers he/she has passed in that semester.

University will provide the question online through UUeMS portal (www.uuems.in) before 5 minutes of commencement time of the examination. Students can download the question paper directly from the above portal by logging in their Roll No. and Date of Birth.

All the concern department heads or subject teachers of the colleges have been requested to make students WhatsApp group and keep their students’ e-mail ID/ WhatsApp no. /mobile no. to circulate the question paper.

Students need to write the answer in A4 size plain paper. At the beginning of writing the answer, students must mention their name, University Redg. No./ Exam Roll No., subject, paper name on the top of each additional page. Students must mention their University Redg. No./ Exam Roll No. and put page Sl. No. at the bottom of each page. (Black Ball Point Pen is to be used).

After completion of the examination time, the student has to serially take photographs of all answer pages or scan as PDF file and send the same to the respective college teachers or department heads by uploading on Google Form / WhatsApp / e-mail within 30 minutes of completion of the examination.

If a student is unable to send the answer sheet by above means due to technical issues or other reasons, he/she can send the answer sheets by Speed Post to his/her college address, but university or colleges shall not be responsible for any misplacement or delay of the delivery of the post. In this case, students are requested to keep a backup photocopy of their answer sheet.

If no online option is available to a student, he/she can go to the nearest college under affiliation to the Utkal University for the exam. (For centres not affiliated to Utkal University, the examinee has to submit a written application before examination).
