UTP dies while undergoing treatment in Odisha

Bargarh, Nov 7:

An undertrial prisoner who was imprisoned in Odisha’s Bargarh District Jail died in the afternoon while he was being shifted to VIMSAR Burla for treatment.

The prisoner identified as Sukru Legi (45) was accused in an attempt to murder case and had spent 13 years in jail.

After Sukru fell ill in the morning he was initially admitted to the district headquarters hospital here, reports said.

He died while he was being shifted to VIMSAR, Burla as his condition deteriorated, reports added.
