Bhubaneswar: As decided by the Government of India, registration for inoculation of beneficiaries in 15 to 18 age group against Covid disease began across the country today.

The beneficiaries can register themselves on CoWin portal - https://cowin.gov.in to get a jab. All those whose birth years is 2007 or before shall be eligible.

How to register on Cowin portal

  • The beneficiaries can visit Cowin portal and register through an existing account.
  • Or else the beneficiaries can register on Cowin by creating a new account through unique mobile number.
  • They can also register for the vaccination onsite. A verifier or vaccinator at the vaccination centre will register such beneficiaries in facilitated registration mode.
  • Service on the onsite or walk-in mode will be available subject to the availability of vaccination slots

In a statement, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) mentioned Covaxin will be administered to the beneficiaries in the area under its jurisdiction.

The beneficiaries in the age group of 15-18 years must carry a valid ID proof like Aadhar card or school ID card to the vaccination centre.

Vaccination timing for the 15-18 age group is 8AM to 1 PM whereas 18+ will be given the jab in between 3 PM to 6 PM.
