Bhubaneswar: Music has the power of making lasting memories. So, turn up the volume on romantic numbers this Valentine’s Day with music videos released recently by artistes from Odisha, celebrating the season of love.

Mathaane Daakila: A poignant tale of lost love and longing this music video captures the beauty of unrequited love. Composed and sung by Ratikant Satpathy, starring actors Ankita Mohapatra and Abhishek Giri, the video is a visual treat with landscapes of the rusty countryside.

Tu Thare Ishaara Dele: Radio Choklate 104 FM is renowned for its Valentine’s Day special dramatic play. However, this year, Odisha’s no.1 private FM station has also released a peppy love number sung by Roddu and Sohini and lyrics penned by Guru Satpathy.

Luv Me Zaraa Zaraa: Sohini Mishra’s Valentine’s Day solo is all about the rosy phase of love, complete with moon in the sky, flowers in the garden, butterflies in the tummy and more. With lyrics in Odia, Hindi and English, this song is an ode to the tingling feeling of being in love.

Bali Umariya: Sung by Tapu Mishra and starring Poonam Mishra, this was the much-awaited song this Valentine’s Day that portrays the youth and vitality of a maiden. Many actors and celebrities from Odisha and beyond also promoted it on social media. Bali Umariya has been composed by Sushil Dalal with lyrics penned by Jaidev Jonwal.
