Veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh announces retirement from all forms of cricket

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Veteran Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh on Friday announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

The 2011 ICC ODI World Cup and 2007 ICC T20 World Cup winner took to his official Twitter handle to announce his decision.

“All good things come to an end and today as I bid adieu to the game that has given me everything in life, I would like to thank everyone who made this 23-year-long journey beautiful and memorable. My heartfelt thank you,” he wrote on Twitter.

The 41-year-old made his Test debut for India in 1998 against Australia. He made his ODI debut the same year against New Zealand. Harbhajan last played for Team India on 3 March, 2016 against UAE in the T2o World Cup. However, he was a constant figure in the Indian Premier League and last played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the recently concluded IPL season.
