Vice President Venkaiah Naidu arrives in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu arrived this evening on a two-day visit to the Odisha capital.

Naidu, who arrived in a special aircraft of the Indian Air Force, was given a warm welcome at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) by Governor S C Jamir and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

After his arrival at the BPIA, Naidu drove straight to Raj Bhawan.

The Vice President will participate at the 13^th convocation of KIIT University here tomorrow.

Notably, this is Naidu’s first visit to the State after his appointment as the Vice President of India.
